... bustle of Lucerne. It is a not much to do kind of town, so we blend right in, sharing a bench by the lake with an old woman eating some ice cream. ... were taken to the train station to board the Glacier Express for the 8 hour trip to Zermatt. We set off from St Moritz station virtually straight into a 5.8km long tunnel. On this sector back-tracked to Chur through gorges and valleys steadily climbing to the highest point on the route of just over 2000 metres.
