Farewell to Benicassim
... the life style of the bourgeoisie of early last century.
It is not the bustling frenzy of some modern resorts, the pace is slower which is what we like, no seedy nightclubs and drunken youths in your face like the early days of ' the Spanish resort'!!!
It has a calm to it.
A lovely sunset on our last evening.
Farewell to Benicassim we could be back next ...
Leaving soon...
... in a large spacious apartment...room for many guests.
Of course we've learned that buying property here is a bit more complicated than our real estate transactions in Sweden. You may have read my NIE entry a few days ago. Last Friday we spent an hour working with a Notary to make sure some of the legal details can happen even if we're ...
And now we have an N.I.E.
... provided by the National Police.
The document is often used as a form of identification, and in many cases the original document is required (a copy is not sufficient). Once issued an NIE number, it will never change, irrelevant of marital status, name changes or residence status. The NIE Number is a national number, and therefore the location of application is irrelevant as the number can be used ...
On our way to VALENCIA
... front of us.
The marina actually closed at 2pm but the staff came back to book the waiting yachts in and were very helpful. What was even better was the nightly charge of 16€ inc of electricity, water and wifi. Can you believe that? We may stay a little longer!
So here we are in this city by the sea. I have heard that it is an amazing place so am really looking forward to seeing some of the sights.
Photos when I can get them ...
Christmas time is here!
Today was a great day. It started out as normal, me doing school work. Then I went into town and met with a couple friends. Olivia lives in an apartment and she bought Christmas decorations! It was so fun and we had a great time. On my way to class I walked past the mercado, which was all light up! It is so beautiful! ...

Simply the best
The hotel Riudor is the best hotel in Benidorm! I have stayed in this hotel 5 times now and it only gets better. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are clean and its situated in a fantastic location - its close to the beach, the bars, the square, the shops... in fact everywhere. The entertainment is lets say very entertaining, they have theme nights and the staff dress up, you can even enter the fancy dress competition! Theres loads to do for everyone in Benidorm, terra mitica, waterpark, mundomar but the best trip ive been on in my life is the catermaran. You go out to sea then have a BBQ on board and then go snorkelling before heading back to shore - be prepared to get wet!
Very nice wicked go back 4 more
went to this hotel a few yrs back but was very happy with the accomadation was right on top floor on the corner and had a lovely view right near to local ammenities and i cant wait to be returning to benidiorm sept 04
Fantastic!!!
BEST hotel we have ever styed in, friendly staff, clean rooms, great food, my kids fell in love with salvador, my mum has booked for the poseidon playa this year because she got a good deal ..the money saved will be spent on taxis every day, back to the ruidor!!!
VERY GOOD
Overall, holiday was most enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was of a high standard and food was good. We enjoyed it very much and have booked up to go back again this year.
Simply Benidorms Best
This hotel has everything to make your hard earned holiday nothing less than perfect. We have been going out there since 1989, and have never had a bad one yet! The staff are so helpful, the food is great, the rooms are cleaned and tidied every single day, it is so good that we would like a permanent room there if we could. We booked almost straight away, after coming home on the 27th 0f Sepember 2003. We just managed to get in for next year in Sept. by the skin of our teeth. This shows that this hotel is superb because they don't usually have late deals, or other such offers on it. I shouldn't be doing this because it might jeopardise our chance's in the future to get a room.So there you are. Go for it.
Great Holiday
Just love this hotel we were there on the 23rd of July untill the 9th off August been there 18 times now the Hotel is clean good entertainment for all the Hawian night is good you can get dressed up the staff are very friendly and dont miss Salvadors bingo night.good fot the kids my daughter has been going there since she was 12 months
Highly Recommended.
We have just returned from a two week stay at the Riudor by Levante Beach. To be honest we didn't want to leave. The management and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was first class, so much to choose from and the hotel absolutely spotless. For those who don't want to venture outside at night, there is entertainment each evening by the poolside, and for those who like Bingo it is a few nights a week. The hotel is situated in an ideal place and is only seven floors high. There is access to everything and everywhere, beach say eight to 10 mins away. There is the Talk of the Coast nightclub right opposite the hotel and Valentines is next door. [You must see the Mad Maori !] The resort is very busy and quite noisy but Benidorm wouldn't be the same if it was quiet. We went with Thompsons, couldn't fault anything. Make sure you visit the Benidorm Palace for the most spectacular show you've seen in a long time. The Lemon express was good too, different, but lots of fun. Thanks Riudor, We'll definately be coming back.
Quality experience
my wife and i stayed here in sept 02 via a Thompson alocation on arrival what a wonderful suprise we had ,from stepping through the door we were welcomed This is a smooth well run, clean hotel, the food was excellent the staff wonderfull. It is centrally situated next to one of benidorms better show bars The talk of the Coast, 20 feet away, in the next street is the famous Black Chicken Kareoke bar ,the cheapest beer in town the beach is a slight stagger across the main road. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough .
