... routes in Japan on Google Maps. I can spend hours on Google Maps looking at street view of possible routes, clicking on hotels or restaurants along the way. I think I drive Amy crazy when I do this but that's how I found St. Cousair Winery.

St. Cousair Winery (www.stcousair.com) was started by a hard working, Japanese entrepreneur and his wife initially as a small, apple jam retail shop in Nagano that has grown into a budding entreprise with a ...

I was on the road by 7:30 AM before there were too many cars on the road and it was a bit of rush to be riding down these huge, empty streets in central Tokyo. ... trip to Nozawa Onsen. It was the perfect arrival. It had been snowing 3 days straight and they had received 50-60cms of snow in the past 2 days. It was lovely to arrive in a pretty little snow village just blanketed in snow and so were we after our short little walk to the lodge. Can't wait to hit the slopes tomorrow morning. We are staying at a traditional Japanese lodge ...

This morning, once again, we woke up to a white snowy wonderland. We had a delicious Japanese breakfast of salmon, rice, miso soup, and a tofu, which filled prepped us for the day of snowboarding ahead. After breakfast, we got on the bus and headed to the slopes. We met up with our instructor for the day and headed off to the same beginner slope as yesterday. After a couple of runs on that slope, our instructor brought us onto ...
