Breakfast 7:30 am Check out 9:00 am Drove north to Wajima morning market. Large market, stalls with lacquer ware - very expensive hand-painted, specialty of this area. Thomas found that he loves moguls so on the really steep slope at the bottom he literally pointed his skis straight down and bounced over each mogul. Absolutely no idea how he stayed up but he now wants to only ski moguls. Isabel took a more leisurely route ...

... and it was just great to be up in the clean cool air – so different from Bangkok. We went down to the bottom of the mountain for lunch and met the kids in the canteen, laughing with the instructor. Great to see them so confident.

We headed off for another couple of hours in the afternoon and then back to pick up the kids. Back to the hotel for a steak and some well earned beer and ...
