We were pathetically happy to be going to a place called Newcastle and were made even happier by the fact that many of the suburbs have the same names as at home; Jesmond, Wallsend, Lambton, Hexham etc... This Newcastle has a good surf beach (Nobby's beach) that we spent the afternoon at.
