Seattle Hostels - Reviews and Rates

We have been a little lazy about the blog since arriving in Seattle on Friday, September 4. We spent Labor Day Weekend with our kids and grandson. As you can see from the picture, the coach has a new driver – our 17 month old grandson Carter. He can't reach the pedals and steer at the same time, so the coach is not moving very far.

So we are finally packed... almost. Just a few last minute things to throw in at 5:00 when we wake up tomorrow. Our plane takes off at 7:55 and we're going to be at the airport at 4:30 if Beau has anything to say about it. :-) My backpack and Beau's are 23 lbs and 21lbs respectively, not counting the day packs. We didn't quite fit in the kitchen...

So I have arrived on the West Coast and it is so exciting to think how far away I am from home! The last few hours in Chicago were nice and walked around the park and near the lake front. I also managed to befriend the editor of the Sunday Mirror (a national tabloid newspaper at home), she was staying at my hotel and we shared a cab into the air...
