so, das wollte ich schon lange schreiben...Busfahren in Guatemala und San Salvador... Die gefaehrte sind amerikanische schulbusse, in denen pro bank 3 Kinder sicher bequem 20 minuten sitzen koennen. Diese Busse sind billig, einfach gestrickt und vandalismussicher... Problem is das meine Beine einfach zu lang sind um hinter die Rueckenlehne des V...

Left for this flight early early on Wednesday morning... the first of three flights that we took that day!

We arrived in San Salvador with very little money on a sunday so all the banks were closed. We were able to make it to La Libertad and rent a room on credit until the banks opened the next day.

Unfortunately our time in San Salvador has been brief...we did try to find Jen's friend Ines...but despite a few numbers and what appeared to be an active ring, no answer. And the next time we had occasion to call it was late and we didnt want a reputaton as impolite Canadians, so maybe next time... Unfortunately the city has a ridiculous reputa...

Not to be disillusioned by the Guatemaleans (still enjoyed our stay there, despite the mugging) we moved onto El Salvador!!! arriving at Santa Ana which is a delightful little city (second biggest in E.S). Stayed in very good accommodation after discovering the cheap budget option was literally in someones back garage! we only did a brief tour o...

but it counts as an overnight stay nige......and evn wandered out into the night withmagic....lost one fella...too scarry an area... ended up getting my beers as magic entertained some ****** up locals....surreal and who was to know that there would be in the future some fun to be had and somewhereelse forever to stay
