Left Campervan depot and travelled North to a place called Orewa crossing Auckland Harbour bridge, amazing scenery, although it was bumper to bumper traffic!! The next day we left early, people were comming to the sea to put their boats into the water and got really loud. It started at 6am and so we drove first close to Goat Island to have a look. It wasn't far to drive back to the turnoff and we had to come back this way anyway so we haven't really come out of our way at all. There is a car park and a security guy here, we paid him $2 to look after our van.
