Really hot today here! Woke up around 10 and had breakfast (tea, cereal, toast with jam and honey) then went to the supermarket to stock up on food and took it back to the hostel. Checked out by 10 and walked to the train station, we were then in plenty of time, waited at the platform it said, then saw it had switched to a different platform so moved there, then that changed so we rushed to the main board to see the train had no platform and was supposed to leave in 2 minutes. For all that Brugge was with its Medieval canals and cozy-quaint feeling, Brussels was the opposite with large boulevards with tons of cars, the immense European Quarter, large multinational headquarters and the huge Royal Palace.
