    ... which was ah-mazing). We then took on another Belgium favorite: waffles! We had waffle sandwiches for lunch and later pregamed dinner with the best waffle in the world. There was a funny picture on our map that showed how Belgians and tourists enjoy their waffles: as the toppings increased, the more and more touristy your waffle became. The classic style is just a waffle with powdered sugar, and that it is fantastic that way.

    ... the Galleries Royals St Hubert, a famous 19th century shopping centre where I once performed in a choir... or behind the choir... without them really knowing... or approving. We were so overcome by the splendour of the place that we accidentally fell into a chocolate shop! Next thing we knew, we were back in the arcade, giggling over a bag of chocolates!
