Nevertheless, the city is by far the most cosmopolitan and globalized of any Chinese city and is home to anything I could ever want or miss from the States. I will certainly be going back to the fabric markets though. I saw a beautiful winter coat that I will have made for me but with modifications - longer sleeves, different buttons, different colour. I love how you can choose the style and material and get your own made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of what off-the-peg clothes would cost in the UK.

Servus Leute !

Etwas unerwartet wurde ich morgens aus dem Bett geklingelt. Das Wetter war toll und es stand auf dem Programm einen Ausflug in die traditionelle Stadt nach Suzhou zu unternehmen.
