... is big enough to cover me when open. Because it has the vents in it, it's been the first umbrella in a long time that doesn't go inside out on me. This one is a keeper.
6) pocket jacket. Bought one for my husband awhile back with some 37 pockets or some ridiculous number like that. He enjoyed it so much that I found a knock off brand for myself. Something that has a ton of pockets on it like these ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia carpefeline... 8211; I saw loads of crocodiles from babies to huge adults – most were just lazing in the mud on the riverbanks but others were swimming. I think the boat people entice the crocs to their part of the river with fish as I saw a few Barramundi floating in the water, but at least it wasn’t as false as being on a Jumping Croc cruise where they get them to jump feet out of the water to feed. The Aboriginal guide was concerned that with crocs being so clever ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia spoonski... you ever heard of charging for something that should be toasted in the first place? Here's an idea--just put the sandwich out in the sun a few minutes and the heat will do for free what costs a dollar inside the coffee shop.

Wanting to salvage what is left of my budget, I wandered into a supermarket just like any Publix or Kroger and almost fell out from sticker shock there as well. A whimpy little 33 cent cup of yogurt back home goes for $2.97 here. One ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia atlpilot36... one the story and photo will be on this site very soon afterward.
The build-up has begun, so our days are very hot (mid-30's) with around 50-60% humidity, so a bit revolting but will get worse before it gets better. Apparently the monsoon rains don't arrive until mid December to January so we have some way to go before there will be any relief.

Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia robynanddavid... for both of us…

After the last race we left for the Ski Club in Fanny Bay to watch the sunset and celebrate Damo’s big day! Greg was driving as he had said he’d be concentrating on punting, so couldn’t possibly drink as well! If only he’d had a bigger day on the turps, perhaps he would have a fatter wallet?

It seemed Darwin was full of Melbournians this weekend, Greg had many mates in town and he was keen to catch up with ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia millersofoz... well signposted and my directions were a bit vague but we finally got there to the lovely air conditioned gallery. Lots of interesting stuff here about Cyclone tracey, crocodiles and aboriginal art.
I have had a great time in Darwin. Considering it is such a small place there is lots to keep you amused and it has a really nice fun holiday atmosphere. The trips to the National Parks were interesting and great fun too. Looking forward to the next part of my trip now.
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia helsh... Park.

The Museum and Art Gallery of the N.T are situated in the one building, at Fannie Bay. We spent a great afternoon here as it is one of the most enjoyable gallery and museums we have been through. The museum was relatively small compared to others but the displays were excellent and focused on nature pertaining to the N.T. The two displays that we enjoyed the most were the 5.5m preserved croc named Sweetheart and the section dedicated to ...

Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia sabaustralisimMy flight landed in Darwin from Saigon at about 6am.

There, I was taken aside to an immigration officer who started to ask me dozen of questions about my drug consumption habits!
Then he asked me if we could check the presence of ecstasy on my bag which I off course agreed on. To my surprise he told me the test was positive and that it would be a lot easier and quicker for me if I were to tell him the truth...
Pretty ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia fredtrip... is perfect for the purpose. One gauge, one switch and an extra 80 litres. I know it was a pain fellas, and you'll never do it again, but it takes a lot of worry out of the driving for us and I wouldn't be without it. They even threw in some spares for us!!

Thus we were able to deliver the truck to the wharf on time but not before a thorough washing in the mother of all car washers. I suppose you need a good machine up here, but we were still not prepared ...
