A good nourishing breakfast was had by all and it was time to say good-bye to our luxury accommodation and the island of Phi Phi and catch the boat at 9:00 am back to Phuket.

After settling in at the International Youth Hostel - cost of $7 each - we were off once again on our hired scooter bikes to see the sights. We had traffic to …

You can either go to Myanmar, which takes about 12 total hours and get 30 days, or go to Malaysia and get 90 days, but the trip is 10 hours there, stay 24 hours, then a 10 hour ride back to Phuket. I chose to get the 90 days. The ride ...

... heading off for a few hours' rock climbing with one of the local companies. A small team of four, a few karabiners and a lot of rope later we were on our merry little way! The climbs got progressively harder and we used the word "challenging" more times than was probably necessary but it was a fantastic way to spend the morning. Our evening was one we'd been looking forward to even before we arrived as our resort offered a chef service which ...
