I arrived in Luxembourg knowing almost nothing about the country (or Grand Duchy, to be precise). I'd booked at bed at the only hostel in the city, but I did't know how to get there from the train station. I didn't know what there is to do and see here. Luxembourg was a pleasant surprise for us after the hussle bustle of Paris. It was calming, beautiful, quiet and rich! Why did we go to Luxembourg you may wonder? I was on my way to Belgium, or so I thought. On my train ride halfway in route there was mechanical problems that arose and left our train at a halt at some train station in the middle of Germany. The train was suppose to take me 2 stations further west to Cologne, Germany to transfer to Belgium. Saturday 23/3 -Travelled from Paris to Luxembourg dept 11.03 arr 14.44. Had a quick look around Luxembourg to get acquainted with the city, then found a church for Sunday mass.
