Beach Paradise

Today started like the last few. An early wake up for me and a nice gentle sleep in for Lisa. Today Lisa was happy to make breakfast and did a wonderful job. The day started cloudy and we weren't sure whether it would be a good day to camp out at the beach for the whole day. We decided to go anyway and the cloud cover soon moved to a beautiful sunny day. The water was amazing and fresh like ice to our warm ...

... theft. A shuttle from Far Out Beach Club was there to pick us all up and take us to the resort. He gave us the key to our "shack" and off we went looking for it. ... an alternate. Ashley wanted to bail to one of the generic eateries, but Travis made us trudge onwards... luckily (for him) a few minutes later we happened upon another place on our list (Salt & Pepper) which was opening in one minute and we were the first customers. We didn't realize that at first (it was 1:30pm after all) and were a little worried there were no customers. No need to be worried as the food was great and the service was equally good (graded on a ...

Monday, 18 May - Travel Day We are going to Greece! But first we needed to get from Bellagio to the Malpensa airport outside Milan. We could have rented a taxi for €150. Instead we opted for a public bus along narrow, winding roads* to the city of Como, then a couple of train rides, followed by a half-mile walking adventure, as we were talked into foregoing our €6 hotel shuttle and instead taking the free airport shuttle...which ...
