Hostel Review in a nutshell - Yoho International Youth Hostel

I thought that this would be just an average hostel after paying £12 a night for a 8 bed mixed dorm. I walked in and it was very spacious, super clearn and it was spread over 3 floors. The rooms were pretty big and had individual lockers and key cards. The staff were really helpful, friendly and strongly encouraged us to drink (haha). There was free Wifi which worked very well. There was a great pub on the ground level which offered drinks till late and had a wonderful happy hour twice a night - A Happy 2 hour?. There was a cosy common room where they insisted playing The Sound of Music every night (which we never managed to watch as we were otherwise engaged) and there was also a café. Everything you need. Check out the site if you're travelling there **Highly Recommended - http://www.yoho.at/

loved staying here , but we arrived an hour after they closed and was forced to find a place somewhere else because they wouldn't check us in , so we had to sleep in the metro station. maybe make a 24 hour check in ?

The early afternoon train from Geisenhausen to Salzburg had unexpected entertainment, being crowded with students decked out in santa hats, swigging bottles of beer, singing raucously ( I wish I could have understood the words!) & generally having a ball. The whole …

I got to see some really beautiful scenery today on my way to Salzburg. I got the train from Ljubljana at 9:22am and I had one transfer at Villach. It only took 4.5 hours to get to Salzburg, and the mountainous scenery was stunning on the way here. You could absolutely see that this is where The Sound of Music was set. I got really lucky with the …

I was so excited to finally make my way to Salzburg. We left on friday afternoon and Tasha was able to drive us to the St. Polten train station so that we didnt have to transfer and it would be cheaper. Once we arrived in Salzburg, we quickly found our hostel and grabbed some food at a restaurant called Shrimps …
