In the morning we ran the gauntlet of the bathroom past all the exotic creatures that the rain had brought in, a frog, an extremely large green locust thing, numerous large moths but luckily nothing that looked too dangerous. Then it was a trip back on the longboat back to the jetty, then the road trip to the Damai Beach Hotel at Kuching.

alosooo, gestern sind wir wie geplant mit dem Bus von Kuala Lumpur auf die Halbinsel Penang rueber gegurkt, hat alles in allem rund 5 Stunden gedauert. Gegen Mittag waren wir dann mit dem Taxi vom abgelegenen Reisebusbahnhof in Georgetown, dem "Hauptballungszentrum" der Insel angelangt.
Vorerst hatten wir uns ueberlegt …
