So I feel like its been a constant struggle trying to keep myself properly nourished. Whether it be my not ordering food out of fear or gorging myself on nutella and white bread I haven't been able to keep a steady flow of nutrition going. The highlight of my day today was knowing that when I arrived and threw my bags at the hostel I would be …
I <3 London!!!
I think I have fallen in love. London is fantastic and to think I only ended up here out of a feeling of obligation. I sort of thought you cant come all the way to Europe and not see London. However, I have found that I not only love the city but the people are fantastic as well. I have been extremely lucky to not have had to surround myself with …
Onto Blighty!
All too soon it was time to move on from France. An interminable queue for RER tickets at Disney Station was followed by a mad dash to Gare du Nord to catch the Eurostar. The trip was uneventful (fast trains are definitely the way to travel in Europe). It was a relief to all that the hostel was virtually across the road from St Pancras Station as …
Arrived Alive
Just a quick note to announce that I have arrived in London after an uneventful flight. I managed to get myself from the airplane to the hostel in under 2 hours by train and tube. I started a few blocks from the hostel and got a bus to Piccadilly Circus where I was to switch to one of the main lines. I was going to do the yellow bus because it was in English and you …

Great location. Not the cheapest backpacker but the rooms were clean and of decent size. We chose a twin private room and had to share bathrooms with others on the same floor. But there are plenty. THe hostel has a cafe but not cooking facilities. WOuld definitely stay here again mainly due to its great location. Staff are friendly too. Bathrooms I found were Ok but my friend whose stayed at hostels in other countries thought that these bathrooms were the cleanest ones shes seen.
