Ensuite bathrooms to a 6 Bed Dorm? Yes Please!

As the title would suggest, I was very happy with the room arrangements here. The kitchen was well equipped, the only downside was it would close around 10 every night. The staff were very friendly tho, the washing machines were good and I was generally very happy for the 6 nights I stayed here.

This YHA is centrally located and is nice, the rooms are a little small but still decent. The kitchen is of decent size and the staff was nice. It is really convenient to get too. I recommend it!

After moving on from a very quiet and tranquil Wanaka, Queesntown was full of life. It is definitely known as the South Island's party town.
After check-in, I found I had been allocated the same room as Ilona, I was very excited and even more so when I found out Elaine was still in town as well as Remko! Elaine and Remko were staying at a …

It was great to be back in Queenstown, we are really lucky to be able to visit this place for the second time on our trip; it's fair to say we’re in love with Queenstown. When we arrived we caught a shuttle bus into town which was $25, don’t do this, you can get a normal bus for half the price. We hadn’t bothered to book anywhere …

After we left the puzzling world, we were sad to say goodbye to Wanaka but we had heard that Queenstown was a bigger version so we were looking forward to our next stop. It was a relatively short and easy drive but we stopped off which meant we didn't get to Queenstown until 1.30. We stopped off at AJ Hackett Bungy to watch a video and to sign up …

After the adventurous travels of Milford Sound it was time to really stick ourselves into Queenstown and see what was around on offer. Ironically the day after our trip to Milford the weather was beautiful. The sun was out and not a cloud in the sky. Not wanting to miss out on the good weather we headed out for a walk, not before a nice lazy lie in …

    Queenstown and the West Coast

... Lovely scenary, no videos though so we retired early and read our books to be ready and fresh faced for the Glacier Walk that awaited us the next day. We arrived at Fox Glacier the next afternoon and got into our Hiking Boots. We headed off on the bus to bring us to the Glacier. When we arrived we started trekking with our friendly Texan Guide Geoff up through the rain forest to bring us to destination.. Fox Glacier. It was amazing, I ...

... our gear there. That day was spent either on my ass or on my ass. I took a lesson first thing to get me back in the groove, it was really good. We were snowboarding at coronet peak, where the views are imense! You can see queenstown, the lake beside it and all the mountains surrounding it! It was amazing. That afternoon me and mark did some runs down the slopes and chilled out! That night we headed out on the **** again! As we do! The following 2 days were ...
