Not the most eventful day as we had another visit from the rain clouds in the afternoon. Although it wasn't raining in the morning we didn't get to go hang gliding as it was too windy. We still got up early, had breakfast and went for a walk round town. We went in to the AJ Hackett store to discuss bungy jumping (Sim was a no no but I wanted to …

Queenstown and the West Coast

... Lovely scenary, no videos though so we retired early and read our books to be ready and fresh faced for the Glacier Walk that awaited us the next day. We arrived at Fox Glacier the next afternoon and got into our Hiking Boots. We headed off on the bus to bring us to the Glacier. When we arrived we started trekking with our friendly Texan Guide Geoff up through the rain forest to bring us to destination.. Fox Glacier. It was amazing, I ...

Bungy, Snowboarding and the Works!

... our gear there. That day was spent either on my ass or on my ass. I took a lesson first thing to get me back in the groove, it was really good. We were snowboarding at coronet peak, where the views are imense! You can see queenstown, the lake beside it and all the mountains surrounding it! It was amazing. That afternoon me and mark did some runs down the slopes and chilled out! That night we headed out on the **** again! As we do! The following 2 days were ...

As the title would suggest, I was very happy with the room arrangements here. The kitchen was well equipped, the only downside was it would close around 10 every night. The staff were very friendly tho, the washing machines were good and I was generally very happy for the 6 nights I stayed here.

This YHA is centrally located and is nice, the rooms are a little small but still decent. The kitchen is of decent size and the staff was nice. It is really convenient to get too. I recommend it!
