We caught the bus at 2pm for our 3 hour ride to Greymouth. We were ending up going back on ourselves, but it was purely so that we could catch our Tranz Alpine Train from here over to Christchurch. There is no direct route from Franz to Christhurch, because the Alps run down between the middle.

I am so rock and roll! After falling asleep at 10 o clock last night I woke up early to catch the bus as today was a long day with lots of walking. I saw the best scenery so far in NZ today, the Buller River, Cape Foulwind (it really did stink) and the Pancake Rocks. I also saw lots of seals at the rocks - so cute!
