    Simple and Cheap

Yesinn Hostel is convenient and cheap. There are 9 bunks to a room (stacked 3 to a bed). The rooms are clean and simple with nice primary color décor. I stayed for a single night on a Hong Kong visa run from Shanghai and it was perfect. There was a Halloween party on the roof and everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun.

Clean, 21 bed dorm is not bad at all, own private space, quiet for the most part, comfortable enough. Staff aren't overly friendly but all speak English and are happy to answer any questions. Nice atmosphere - I would definitely recommend staying here.

    So-so, but location is good

It's cheap for Hong Kong, clean and rooms have ensuite bathrooms that work well (the flushing power could be stronger). The location is good, on Hong Kong Island, maybe 20-30 minutes walk (or 3 stops of the MTR) from the big bar, club area of Wan Chai

Hostel is split up into different 'apartments' though so some areas don't have communal spaces, so not much for mixing and meeting people if that's what you're after. Overall, it was OK for what I needed--some rest and relaxation.

Lol it's like the day that never ends!! We eventually got into our room at the hostel, we landed there at 8.30am and we couldn't check in until 2pm so it was a really long wait. We just sauntered about and got our bearings so was ok. We were both like zombies by the time 2pm came round so we had a sleep before going back out again. We went out …

Arrived! Easy flights and bus ride to hostel. Slightly cloudy outside but warm and humid. Buses like England buses however much cleaner and plusher: leather seats, air con and a TV screen telling you all the stops. Hostel nice on a busy vibrant road, reminds me of New York. Been for food twice today found two nice little local places only native …

In the evening we took the peak tram up to the highest point of Hong Kong Island which overlooked the harbour (tommy says that if any of ye think the drink in ashes is steep you would wanna see this slope) seriously scary stuff. There was a class view from here overlooking the whole island, I mean ...
