Op het vliegveld stonden Hetty en Frans ons op te wachten, 30min voor ons aangekomen, timing! Kennis gemaakt met de gids voor de komende 10 dagen, en onze driver. Had a lovely experience of a 'Chinese Laundry' today. Laundries in Asia either charge you by weight, or by item. The laundry I went to was by item. It's an interesting experience to have some Chinese lady sifting through your smalls, all the while laughing and pointing at the size of your bras. A real esteem booster, I must say.

First stop this morning, the Nunnery. I was actually expecting Whoopi Goldberg to be there, or at least Maggie Smith. How disappointing. But the nuns were quite friendly and a couple even posed for some photos. Unfortunately, the nunnery also meant more yak butter. I seriously need a face mask.

    Room is clean with good bathroom. Good breakfast is served on the rooftop restuarant with views. Staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry facikities are available at a reasonable price. Wood stay again.
