The room was ok but not enough outlets, big common area, everything except reception only accessible for guests, good location.

The rooms are okay, toillets and showers too. The kitchen is big, but there aren't enough tables and chairs to eat.

We get up bright and early for our flight to Auckland. We're both quite excited but still jaded by the early start. We check in to our flight and get asked about our return flights, apparently NZ immigration will want to see a copy of our return flight. We were going to play it by ear but luckily late last night I looked into flights. I found a …

So, goodbye Sydney! De vlucht van Sydney naar Auckland ging …

Customs processing in New Zealand is a breeze. As long as you don't have any fruit with you. I quickly had to eat my apple because it is a big no-no to bring any fruits into New Zealand. They even have a fruit sniffing dog that sniffed my bag since it recently contained an apple and it had to get checked out. This however was quicker than when I …

We caught an early flight out of Cairns to Brisbane and then New Zealand. Small world. Saw Mike from our dive trip at the airport in Cairns and Brisbane, even though we were on different flights. It's amazing how we keep bumping into people we've met everywhere.

My wound dressings seemed to hold up well, the main discomfort in my feet was …
