Short entry to say we are off.....it was a quick morning and early afternoon as we made our way to the airport. Thank you Australia for a wonderful month. We used this morning to have a spectacular breakfast in the Westin Club Lounge where the views were as amazing as the breakfast. ... Very tired and luckily not too hot as there was some cloud cover, though the humidity was definitely a factor. Lots of tourists filling the streets by the early afternoon. ... Surfer's paradise might suggest, as it did to
us, some good surf so we headed for the beach. It was as flat as a
pancake! The whole little town was filled with road works too,
building a tram through the city, so was a bit chaotic particularly
to drive through, but it felt like a nice enough place. We feel there
are many more nicer and quieter beaches though so were glad we just
