Oh Paris...

I wanted to like Paris, I really did, but it was such a tourist trap and do disorganized it made it a bit difficult. While we saw a lot of beautiful and famous sites, our time there was a bit stressful with how difficult the public transport was and the sheer amount of tourists everywhere. Lucky we made a friend in our hostel and she helped us …

After bit of a restless night due to hot room and party-goers downstairs, we enjoyed croissants for brekky (of course) and decided on the walking tour for this morning. So after Adrienne once again explained to me how to decipher the train map, we worked out how to get to the starting point and met them just in time. Our tour guide …

staff was very friendly - perfect english so communication wasn't a problem (which I found to be rare in France). Common room was rather cozy and dorm rooms were okay, as well. As it wasn't high season, we had the 6-bed room to ourselves which was quite nice. Kitchen wasn't very clean though and the bathroom was tiny. I hate to think what happens during high season when an entire floor has to share that small shower!
