staff was very friendly - perfect english so communication wasn't a problem (which I found to be rare in France). Common room was rather cozy and dorm rooms were okay, as well. As it wasn't high season, we had the 6-bed room to ourselves which was quite nice. Kitchen wasn't very clean though and the bathroom was tiny. I hate to think what happens during high season when an entire floor has to share that small shower!

I tried to take regular breaks and limit unnecessary walking whenever possible. However, I still wound up doing 10 miles today. I …

The floor I saw was the very top and housed all the Impressionist paintings (Renoir, Monet, Degas, Cezanne etc). The museum itself is a work of art …
So today was a bit of a lack luster day until the end, considering its Paris and all and yet I have a TON of pictures cuz the last bit was AWESOME!! I went to three places the Sainte-Chappelle, Conciergerie, and the Pantheon. I did quickly swing by the Shakespeare and Company Bookstore (pic 1). The original …
So as I begin to write the first draft of my day, I am sitting in a Starbucks. Before you get all up in arms ("a Starbucks? In Paris!?!?), I should mention that it's the Starbucks across from the Moulin Rouge. That shut you up right quick didn't it! Lol
Actually, I'm waiting to start a tour that will climb …
