Wombat's The Lounge Vienna

Heading to Vienna through Linz today. Woke up at 6:30am to catch the
7:14am train to Linz from the main train station which was only about
a 10 minute walk from the hostel. Got to the train in time and the
train was on it's way. The weather did not look promising however once
I arrived in Linz around 12:30pm it was starting to clear up. I got my

Today I am in Vienna. I woke up around 9:30am and went downstairs for
the continential breakfast they served. For a continential breakfast
this one was actually not bad. They had HBE's (Hard Boiled Eggs), tons

We arrived in Vienna late in the afternoon after a stop at Bratislava for a few hours. Bratislava was even more quite then last time I was there. We stopped and had lunch and then moved on to Vienna. We arrived in Vienna, Austria today after a very long 12-hour night spent in a couchette in an Italian night train. It turned out that we were lucky to get a train at all though since yesterday Venice was on a public transport strike. It's a good thing that Austrians speek German just so I don't have to learn another language so Gutentak!! Vienna is a really beautiful place, it's really nice to stroll around. My last day in Salzburg was a pretty relaxing one. I wanted to walk to the top of the mountain to visit the fortress that sits there, but it was pouring rain all day, so the view would have been nonexistant. Instead, I strolled through the Old Town and the Christmas markets some more, enjoyed a little mulled wine, and headed back to the hostel by the end of the afternoon once the thunderstorm had started. Hey everyone so I made it to Vienna. I was so glad that nothing went wrong with my flight, so I am back on track. I got in last night around 6pm and went from sunny hot Greece to cold, rainy Vienna.
