Pretty decent for a backpackers. Big rooms with private bathrooms, wifi everywhere although when 100 people try using it at once it suffers.

We stayed at Wombats, which was certainly quite good. A pretty decent location, a massive bar, huge facilities and simply letting us check in at 8am after the overnight train - that's a win in my books. Additionally, I printed off about 60 pages of documents for free which I was stoked about.

    Nice hostel

Cheap, spacious rooms, cool bar/chill out area. The only thing is that wireless is on the groundfloor only (free but) and breakfast is not included. It is also a little further from the train station than the other wombat but it is cheaper. Nice cheap place to stay in Vienna...recommend the citybikes as well, good way to get around.

Yesterday was all a bus ride. Pretty much a full day of driving. Not continuously, the European driving laws means that the driver has to stop every 2 hours for 45 minutes. Last night, the hostel put on a "beach party". I passed. Today, I also passed on the walking tour and opted to stay in bed. Still pretty tired and this is a good time to catch …

Just like the last Wombats I stayed at this one also offered a free walking tour. When I went outside to see how nice it was (I was wearing shorts) I quickly ran back inside to change into pants and a jacket because it was 64 degrees Fahrenheit. When I told my roommates that it was freezing outside they both laughed and said it's only 18 degrees …

We arrived in Vienna in the afternoon with enough time to get changed before having to meet downstairs in the reception for the "walking fork". This is an excursion for Busabout passengers where a tour guide meets you at the hostel walks you around Vienna showing you the sights, where to eat, markets, buildings, palaces and museums. I know this …
