    Would live there forever!

This place is absolutely buzzing at all times of the day. The lounge/greenhouse type area is great for catching a few zzz's, reading a book or in the evening watching the football on the big projector screen (for Germany's first game they provided red, black and yellow mnm's!)
The bar has a great happy hour - pitchers for five euro - and an amazing atmosphere. Super easy to meet amazing people! The rooms were clean and spacious and had key card protected lockers for valuables. Would recommend this place to anyone! Just watch out for the angry security guard from across the road, especially if you're out on the street past 12am making noise - he will threaten to call the cops! Although he probably won't.

Great atmosphere and the location is great. Only downside was the price. Expensive when I walked in last minute.

I had a very good experience at Wombats. I found out about it from the internet. It had very good ratings. Everything was clean. I liked the locker system in the rooms. The €3 breakfast wasn't bad. The lounge area was fun and I made a few friends on the city tour. The only thing I didn't like, which wasn't Wombats fault, was the people not really respecting sleep time. Someone came in and turned on the lights in the middle of the night... So that was shitty... but other than that, not bad.

This place was literally close to everything and had good facilities. The free beer is more of a sip but its still free. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but overall, great place.

Right next to the train station which makes day trips a dream. Bit of a shame that there's no wifi in the rooms but there's a very cool chill out area on the ground floor. Nice helpful staff and there's bar too with happy hour, 5 euros for 1.5L of beer! Big rooms too.

The train journey from Vienna to munich was a mere four and a half hours, which I enjoyed in the comfort of a German train complete with on board restaurant/bar. The only spolier on an otherwise pleasant journey was discovering that China's finest phone had decided to delete all pictures from Bratislava and Vienna. Not pleasing... Despite the short …

Arriving in Munich at 7am, we were desperate to find our hostel. Lucky for us, it was just around the corner, and seemed lively, with friendly staff - a very good start. So we headed out in search of sights, but came across a McDonald's. Now, me and Becky very rarely go in McDonald's at home, but it seems different and exciting to go in one abroad …

    Trekking across Deutschland!

Leaving the others behind in Grunau, it was time for me to travel to the Bavarian capital Munich. A totally different region to that of the northern German cities with locals being considered hicks and that they talk funny, whereas those from Berlin talk proper German. Unfortunately I did not get to have a …

9:00 am I'm in love with this place. Wombats City Hostel has great accommodations and I slept so good in my bed last night. I am in a dorm of 8 people both male and female which makes it so easy to meet people. Yesterday when I first arrived I walked the city alone and even got to try on the outfit that girls wear to Oktoberfest. Women also wear it …

The coach trip to Berlin was a short but *******e. Lia, Nim and I were all running on one hour sleep so took the three hour couch journey as an opportunity to catch up on some well deserved sleep. The seats were surprisingly comfy and the coach surprisingly empty so we each claimed two seats to spread out on. I awoke just as the coach was pulling …
