This hostel was fantastic. It was so fun with events going on all the time. The Irish bar was great with really good drinks offers. The food they served here was pretty good and really cheap! The beds were so comfy with a proper duvet and really soft pillow. Wifi was excellent even in the bedrooms. Highly recommend this hostel!!!- we'll be staying at the cusco and Arequipa hostels when we are in Peru!

Location not perfect but quite ok, 4 computers, wifi everywhere, bathrooms very very clean and hot water, make up room with hair dryers and straightners (not excelent but they dry), lockers in rooms and on reception to leave your phone charging, breakfast ok, bar great with excellent food (try nachos), agency inside the hostel to book any trips, very good ambience. A lot of noise till 2 am but I managed to sleep.

Great place to stay - has a reputation for being a party hostel, would say it could be but was fine when we were there - ask for a room awa from the pub (we were in room J)

Great rooms, great bar, great comfort food and a great atmosphere! Not one for people who want a bit of peace and quiet as it can get pretty loud in the evenings!

We arrived in La Paz at 5am in the morning after a bumpy overnight bus journey. We got a taxi to the hostel, wild rover and fell asleep on a couch until it was time to check in. The hostel was absolutely alive and full of Irish. We spent the day wondering the streets of La Paz and shopping in the numerous colourful markets. We bought some souvenirs …

A survivor of death road and I have the t-shirt to prove it! An all round great day with 2013 mountain bikes, all the protective gear including elbow pads, knee pads and a motorbike helmet, bad **** trousers which made me want to bop like a gangster and enough common sense to use my breaks on the route down! I wanted to keep up with the guide and …

Two weeks of studying and I was ready to party in La Paz or so I thought. Feeling fairly chuffed with my bargain bus ticket I re-packed my backpack and said goodbye to Sucre. The night bus was comfortable but freezing. I was the only non-local on it and shortly after setting off made friends with the lady next to me. We were having a great …

Our overnight Cruz del Sur bus arrived into Arequipa on time, and as we exited the bus and entered the terminal we bumped into Suzy and Molly as their bus had been delayed - I guess paying more (they took a VIP seat) doesn't guarantee you an on time journey! After collecting our bags we were approached by a group of locals, some dressed in suits …

The next few days before heading to Rio were pretty similar. Matt (who I met in Huacachina) turned up during our stay in La Paz. In the mornings we would head to an English pub for breakfast and stay there for a few couple of hours before heading to the main shopping centre where we went bowling and to the cinema and couple of times.
