Today we were up and getting ready to catch our buses. Had to get in some lunch supplies as it is a 6 hour trip to Antalya.

Well it was an interesting trip. It was 355kms and took us 6 hours. The first 100kms seemed to take forever and then we stopped at a rest station which appeared to be owned by the bus company, KamilKoç (pronounced …

After visiting with Rudi, his wife and daughter, we drove back towards Antalya. Our first stop was the Roman theatre at Aspendos, one of the best preserved theatres left from the Roman empire. It was ...

Another 5 hours of driving brought us to the Turkish coast and the city of Anatolya. We had to go over the Taurus Mountain range, which looks surprisingly similar to heading to Squaw - lots of rocks and fir trees. The only difference was that every now and then we would see tents with herders and their goats. Other than that, the highway was quite well built and maintained.

Anatolya is a tourist city ...
