8th Cowichan Native Village
Midway between Victoria and Nanaimo we visited the Cowichan Tribes native village. This was the kids first introduction to native Indians, or as they are called in Canada, Aborigines. We had some great food here – stay for lunch or breakfast is worth the visit.

and thats all I wanted
the hostel was overbooked but these guys are cool.
You simply get a mattress in the living room for a discounted price and it works out - I wanted nothing else!
