    and thats all I wanted
the hostel was overbooked but these guys are cool.

You simply get a mattress in the living room for a discounted price and it works out - I wanted nothing else!

Up early to be at ‘The Whale Centre’ for 8:30am for our tour to Hot Springs Cove. As part of the tour we were told that we’d do some whale watching on route to the island where the hot springs are, as we arrived they told us the bad news that Gray Whales hadn’t been spotted in about a week, but …

Met Beverley's friend Belkis and her daughter, Karyl and Belkis' new man, Don. Great company and we had a wonderful few days just hanging out and playing tourist. Port Renfrew was beautiful - quite mystic with moss forests, weeping trees and amazing rock pools surrounded by huge kelp beds which encourage the odd humpback whale along the shores - we were lucky enough to spot two as ...

... I was over the limit in weight for Pacific Coastlines, but I hoped if I got there early enough, they might let me off any penalty - which was what happened. That made me very happy :-) The flight was uneventful - I was second on the plane so I sat right in the front - no window, but it meant that I could stretch ...
