... gate away so off on a trek; waited ages to board and didn't take off for almost an hour after schedule departure. ... of Lauderdale it is stuffed with massive oil paintings and some very beautiful furniture. One change did include opening up the ceiling above the entrance hall to create a magnificent galleried landing. Very impressive. ... other Royals met with the Singaporean President here before their return trip down The Mall to the Palace.

Close to Trafalgar Square now, we caught the bus towards Harrods Department Store for a look. High end fashions etc., as expected, we bought only a block of chocolate and some pastries to nibble on before dinner. Between a very slow bus due to traffic and a train, we got home and into bed after another long and this time cold day.

The boys were more excited to go to Yo Sushi for lunch - altho we had to restrain ourselves from grabbing too much off the conveyor belt as we watched the empty plates pile up.
