Richard and I decided to visit St Pauls this morning. After exploring the amazing cathedral floor, we climbed up to the Whispering Gallery and tested out the walls where you stand opposite each other (about 30ft apart) and whisper into the wall. The acoustics mean that the other person can hear you...very cool.

Today, I left Finsbury Park (birthplace of Minnie Driver!) for lunch in King's Cross, only a few Tube stops away on the Victoria line. King's Cross is a major transportation hub in London, with a rich, storied history and a certain degree of fame for being the location of Harry Potter's "platform 9 3/4." But honestly, **** all that. I like King's Cross for its selection of street food, ************.

... sense... no. Not so much.

Had some time to kill before seeing the play, so I hopped on the tube, made my way to Oxford Circus or so and just had a browse. Haven't actually bought much in the clothes/physical item sense, though that will have to change. Won't be wearing two jeans for the next two months (challenge accept... no, wait. No.) so an actual shopping day is on the cards sometime.
Got to the Young Vic, walked in... and was kinda amazed at how a.) small ...
