After New Year, I really wanted to leave Rio - it is a great place, but Iīve done all the tourist stuff already when I was here last year. Also I got a bit burned on my back and eaten alive by mosquitoes, so I was ready to move on, especially as at night I was a bit miserable while out and couldnīt last the pace as my back was roasting and people were bumping into it, coupled with my mozquito allergy...euugh!
