Wake Up! Sydney Central

In the morning i said goodbye to my beautiful room and checked out at 10am, then went legging it down the road to find a cashpoint as I didn't have enough money to pay for my last few nights plus the taxi to the airport. This took bloody ages. Once back, I waited for a few minutes the got into the taxi with a bloke who works at the hostel and also does taxi rides to the airport. He was about my age and really friendly, and we had a nice chat about Buenos Aires for half an hour....

In the morning I was horrified to wake up at 7.30am and despite my tiredness find myself unable to get back to sleep, thanks to jetlag doing weird things to me. I got up fairly late today, owing to the combo of last night's revelries and jetlag. I hadn't realised at this stage that Side Bar did beautiful breakfasts, so I walked north up Pitt Street to a "restaurant" on the corner and, deciding that their breakfast selection looked okay, went inside. A chinese woman greeted me, then told me that breakfast was no longer being served as it was 11.35am, and it finished at half-past. Ridiculous. Today I had a massive full English breakfast in Side Bar with Nicole... it was beautiful. Sydney is even better than I had anticipated. A beautiful city full of life, and lots to do. Megs and I did as much as we could considering the weather was ****** for the first two days, although the coolness was a nice way to wean myself into the Australian climate. Hallo! Hier kommen die ersten Eindurecke aus Sydney! Die Stadt ist einfach unglaublich schoen und es gibt immer wieder etwas Neues zu entdecken! Nach den ersten obligatorischen Sehenswuerdigkeiten wie die Harbour Bridge und die Oper, habe ich inzwischen auch schon Bondi Beach und den Botansichen Garten besichtigt.
