... it up for tourism. We arrived in Voss at 8:10 and picked up tickets for our Norway in a nutshell tour. The hotel "Fleischer's" is right next to the station so we went here and put our luggage in the luggage room. We had an hour and a half so went for a walk down to the lake and sat in the sun. Took some timer photos and did a little sunbaking. There was an extreme sports festival happening in Voss so we watched them launching para gliders behind a boat in the ...

... French, and Americans all battered at our castle walls and were repulsed by strategically placed backpacks and extended legs...our own private Idaho! Once again the weather was very pleasant and the crowds really weren't that bad.

Arriving in Flam, we orient ourselves as to the location of our Hotel, the railway station and most importantly, the brew pub. You can smell the roasting hops from the time you exit the ferry. The Norwegian ...

... The weather today was such that some people were actually laying out in the sun along the lakeside. Apparently, the clear skies and warm temperature is uncommon this time of year. Trust me...I wasn't complaining. When evening approached, we walked back into town for dinner at Vossevagner Steakhouse. I ordered shrimp and potato cakes and was happy with my selection. Then it was back to the lazy cabin to resume with not doing much of anything until ...
