... but with the wind stronger than the day before and the sky looking rather bleak we were not too fussed. The fact that we had seen little of the island didn't overly play on our minds as we had used the time to relax and plan the next month of our trip in addition I think that we were a bit depleted when it came to caring about ruins, churches and temples.
So it was off to the port where the real Greek adventure began.

... wearing flip flops, but of course we didn't think of that!). Once in, the water was refreshing and so clear we can see the bottom. However, it did get deep very quick. After spending a few relaxing hours swimming and catching some rays, we caught the bus back to Thira.

And so another day passed in beautiful Santorini. We are now ready for another day of exploration tomorrow. Hmmmm... What to do next?....

... but I won't name names. After the two-plus hours we were battling the sea, we pulled in to Santirini’s port of Thira. Our hostel kindly sent a bus to drive us up the volcanic crater and to our hostel at Perissa beach.
