Worst jet lag ever! We have literally travelled back in time today, we left New Zealand on the 26th July at 4pm, the flight took eleven and a half hours, during which time we probably only managed about an hours sleep each, and we arrived in Santiago before we had left New Zealand. The local time when we arrived was 11.30am on the 26th July. We …
... they are so nice!' mood. I was meeting my friend from school in England and her boyfriend for lunch, so I decided to go to the restaurant and wait outside for them. Got there a little early. Ok, i am a bit down on Santiago because the air is pretty foul, and this from a resident of London. This is our last stop before getting on a plane for New Zealand, and we´re pretty sad to be leaving South America. The first few months in Bolivia and Peru were a whirlwind of scenery and history; the last few weeks in Argentina and Chile have been more sedate and focussed on food, wine and art galleries, so much more European in feel. It´s been a nice mix.
