Langt layover i Los Angeles

A travel blog entry by metteogkirsten

Between Two Capitals

A travel blog entry by jord-travers

I write to you reenergized and reinspired after, experiencing the gourmet American hotdog, the bay marina and a cosy boutique book store while on a long bike ride around sunny Oakland. Now living amongst residential streets with trees on the sidewalks that dance in the wind and free from the wearing sounds of ambulance sirens and dance clubs, I am …

Girl look at that body - I work out

A travel blog entry by nickycooil

This is a top pick!

3rd July I checked out of my hotel at around 10am (check out was meant to be 11) and decided to go and hang out by the pool until I headed off to the airport (my flight was at 4.20pm). However once I arrived at the pool I noticed that you needed your key card to get in. Bored I decided to head early to the airport where I caught a shuttle outside …

Venice beach

A travel blog entry by fayeandreg

We are now currently in Hollywood after a few good days at Venice beach! We tried skateboarding and biking, seeing as that seems to be the only way of getting around there. Reg was pretty good at skateboarding, but I'm sure most of you can imagine how Faye got on..

We witnessed a police search on the beach, complete with helicopters and …

Venice Beach

Venice Beach was somewhere that both of us really enjoyed staying, the beach was absolutely gorgeous, there was beautiful sunsets every
night that you could see from outside our hostel window, there was a hive of
activity going on from acrobatics from the …

The hostel is up quite a few flights of stairs which sucks when you have been out walking all day, though it does keep you fit. Rooms, toilets ect are more than satisfactory for a hostel. The location is great, though there are a lot of people that prey on the tourists on the Venice boardwalk which is right out front of the hostel.
The only real downside to this hostel is the staff. Simple things such not bothering to reply to small talk kinda dampens the place
