I write to you reenergized and reinspired after, experiencing the gourmet American hotdog, the bay marina and a cosy boutique book store while on a long bike ride around sunny Oakland. Now living amongst residential streets with trees on the sidewalks that dance in the wind and free from the wearing sounds of ambulance sirens and dance clubs, I am …
3rd July I checked out of my hotel at around 10am (check out was meant to be 11) and decided to go and hang out by the pool until I headed off to the airport (my flight was at 4.20pm). TravelPod Member ReviewsVenice Beach Cotel Los Angeles
The hostel is up quite a few flights of stairs which sucks when you have been out walking all day, though it does keep you fit. Rooms, toilets ect are more than satisfactory for a hostel. The location is great, though there are a lot of people that prey on the tourists on the Venice boardwalk which is right out front of the hostel.
The only real downside to this hostel is the staff. Simple things such not bothering to reply to small talk kinda dampens the place
