... the next week and so we decided to change our plans and head for Naxos. It was much more difficult to get a ferry to this island, which was suggestive of its popularity. Tension in Athens
... and pole, and street vendors sold everything from grilled corn on the cob to whistles to the crowds of people who gathered there to peacefully make their point. We never felt threatened or unsafe around there, though our eyes, noses and throats still stung with the remains of tear gas from days before.
