First things first. I had never heard of Cook Islands before planning this trip. I was totally unaware of its cluster of 15 separate islands in the South Pacific belt. I couldn't care less about the few thousand people who live in this 'country'. Yes, it is, apparently, a country.
Also, it lies on the right hand side of the …
We got SMART at L.A's duty free store... Our American dough needed offloading Bro!
Peering round the corner of the liquor department... We notice a glow, coming from one of the shelves... I put down the large Malibu bottle I was clasping hold of... As if the glow were a Principal, looking at me in disgust. Me and Moses edge towards the …
The capital island in the Cooks, Rarotonga, was a very chilled out place. How has this hostel rated in the past?
Vara's is called a 'Guest House'. It is, for intents and purposes a dorm. It also has double and twin rooms which you can book of course. The best part of the place is that it is right by the beach.
The lounge and the kitchen are reasonable. The toilet facilities (communal for the dorms and rooms) are not amazing but not bad at the same time.
