We stayed here as I had stayed here in 2010, and knew the area was close to Hollywood attractions. As a couple we reserved a private room, what a joke! The room just had enough room for the bed and our suitcases (standing up), and the tiny bathroom smelt like mould and feet. To top that off, we were two doors down from the loud "bar" that the hostel runs and they kept the door to the bar open at night so we couldn't get to sleep until 2pm! When my boyfriend went downstairs to ask if they would mind closing the door, the staff advised him that we should have stayed somewhere else if we didn't like noise. I understand this is a party hostel, and I don't mind music, but its not too much effort to close a door - and if you have private rooms - why put them next to the loudest place in the hostel? This place is run by amatures, don't rate it if you are atfer a place to sleep. Its a shame, the location is great.

Good lockers in the rooms, pancakes for breakfast very good, near to the walk of fame. Some staff not that helpful, but arranged an airport pick-up in the end, some small bugs in the bathroom, but they left once the light went on.
