Melbourne comme toute ville d'Australie possede un CBD en son centre forme de hautes tours entoure par des suburbs tel que St Kilda et Docklands en front de mer, Southbank avec le Crown et Albert Park.

La banlieue est tres etendue par rapport a un CBD tres concentre ou se trouve les sieges des societes, pas mal de banques.
