Day 8: The Long Drive Home
At this point we split with the Lys since we wanted to get an earlier start and they wanted to sleep in. When we said goodbye, they were just starting to get up and eat some breakfast.

This summer, the Ly and Jun families decided to combine forces to spend a week in a cabin in the mountains. We had wanted to rent a cabin together for some time but it was pretty expensive to rent a place in Ontario. Then I stumbled across rentals in the Smokies and was shocked to discover just how inexpensive it was there!
I ended up finding an incredible cabin that was beautiful ...

Opening my eyes now, I saw, at the top of the page, the crest of The Netherlands laid proudly, deep breath now as my eyes crept slowly down the page to read;

... 3pm - drive to Wales, 1.5hr
5pm - check in, dinner, chill
all day - explore Wales (Big Pit museum, steam train, hike, castle, etc)
6pm - dinner & chill
10am - explore countryside on drive back to Heathrow (3 hr drive)
4pm - check into hotel
5pm - go to Central London for dinner
8pm - back to hotel
