The bear and the madrono tree
... bags, we drove back down the cobblestone walkway to a nearby underground parking garage without too much difficulty, and, with a feeling of relief, locked up the car and left it for the next few days. When we arrived on foot back at the hotel, Kay and Larry were just getting back from visiting a mus em! We had a great reunion in the hotel lounge, then went out for dinner at a restaurant that was within walking distance. It's very cool here in Madrid ...
Flamenco and taking over the dance floor
... worried that the show would be cheesy because there would surely only be tourists present. The giant crowd was probably exactly that, but the show was amazing. The three dancers were powerful and mesmerizing, all in their own ways, and the singer and guitar player were unreal. It was over an hour of eye-opening yet hypnotic, intimate song and dance.

“ UNSAFE: WORST HOSTEL ”

Without Prejudice : Allegations: The manager-owner fraudently stole my money by DECEPTION. 2. Many young travellers, back-packers / college students etc ( first time abroad on vacation for some) have been traumatized by the arrogant , obstinate & disgraceful manager. . See their accounts on : TripAdviser & Hostelz.com etc; for their terrible but HONEST reviews ranging from 0 to 1 ratings. DO NOT STAY HERE. Some Hostel companies have deleted this place from their sites.
Common problems: The ratings of this hostel could not be true. (c. 90% -100% ) these ratings are dishonest ,impossible. FIXED. This hostel may have achieved awards many years ago..2004 etc..but it is now a DISGRACE. 2 toilets for c.30 people..terribly unhygienic...rough. A so- called kitchen 10 ftx 10 ft. for c.30 people..a kip....opens c.10am, the result : many guests cannot have a breakfast that they paid for . Reception opens 10am....if you want to get your "key-deposit money back" you must return key by 11am at the latest. Otherwise You loose 20 Euros. Hostel Closes for 3 hours c.mid-day.
N.B. Recent DATA On arrival : Guests who booked on line pay their accommodation bill first & then some are re-located to another premise..15 minutes away in the Red Light district. This place is horrible according to the HONEST REVIEWS published (0 -1 ), as previously mentioned. Accordingly, Guests who did not like this place have said" that they did not get their accommodation-money back from the manager / owner"" & had to pay again elsewhere.
