      Would stay here again

It is now called United Backpackers. I enjoyed staying at this hostel as it isn't as big as the other one I have stayed in. The staff on reception are friendly and they have a good kitchen area to cool food with appliance that work. The only downside is that the rooms aren't air con so it does get really hot at night even with the fans on and window open. There also isn't a laundry room but it is due to open soon. There is large lockers under the bed to store your stuff and the location is amazing.

Average regarding cleanliness. Big kitchen but underground, no windows. No common area. I arrived before check in time with heavy luggage, I wanted to leave them in the hostel and go for a walk... I did it, but had to pay for storing them. I know I'm "just" a backpacker, but considering I stayed one week it was a very cheap and lame behavior on their behalf. Go somewhere else.

well its nice to have ur own room but u may as well be in a massive room with 70 others as ther are partitions not walls between rooms so can hear what everyone else is up too.... as for the kitchens....foul!!

We tried to go to Ponyfish Island, but they were closed already

Went back to the hostel, drank a bit, then went out to a popular backpacker bar (Turf Bar)

We have an amazing breakfast, loads of bacon and eggs, toast, tea, juice... :-) Then we head off and get the ferry over to Sorrento. We go to the Moonlit Sanctuary and get to cuddle a koala and feed a wallaby; me and Breda crawled under the fence to get to them but they didn't mind and we didn't get caught :-) We went to the beach and I'd …

I got my laundry done this morning so that I could spend the rest of the day exploring the city, had to go to another hostel down the road which was weird, got it washed and dried before anyone else in my room was awake, lazy people. The information centre across the road is really useful and they help me book a 2 day overnight tour of the Great …
