        ... I'll spare you the details. Suffice it to say it had to do with the look of one of the dishes. People must have been thinking....those silly Americans. We walked home and passed by a bakery. Most of you know Paul couldn't resist it, and I'm glad. A strawberry tart was purchased, and I must say those were the best strawberries I've ever tasted...and I come from Driscoll strawberry land ...

        ... for a while to find a shop called Winkle 43, which was widely known (except by those who live in Amsterdam) to have the best apple pie in Netherlands.
