... were only really keen on the palace. So we kicked up the hill and were greeted with the sweeping views over Old Town and Prague, the river and the many bridges crossing it. It was obviously built there for the view. The palace is the size of 7 football fields in size, so we took a fairly direct route through it, past the massive cathedral inside and out the other side before making our way down to the John Lennon memorial wall. ... where the Eiffel Tower of Prague is located. We climbed the tower and got absolutely incredible views of the city and the Castle. Prague is really nice. It's not super huge, it has some awesome architecture, and pretty nice people. We also walked across the Charles Bridge and touched the statue of John of Nepomuk. Prague is an old city and the area we are in is in the old part of the city. It is a maze of narrow cobble stone lanes. The buildings are mainly 3 storey apartment blocks, each with its own central courtyard. It is a bit run down but there are signs of restoration with some of the buildings showing the original exterior decorated walls.
