... Large communal room, long tables and the beer arrives at the table as soon as you do. Then they ask what you want. In most restaurants, and particularly brew pubs, the beer choice is usually limited to what's on tap and the choices are usually light colored, dark, mixture of the two and sometimes a wheat beer. And in the Czech Republic, the birthplace of Pilsner style beer, it is always outstanding.

We arrived in Prague around 5pm. Our hostel was a short walk from the train station. We are staying at the Blind Eye Hostel. We are in a 14 bed room on the fourth floor. The beds are kind of like regular beds... no bunks. Right now there are three other boys staying in there too. More people might have moved in since we left though. After cooking dinner, our specialty... grilled cheese ...

On Saturday afternoon we met up with our tour group. There are 27 of us and everyone is an Aussie or a kiwi, making Michelle and I the token Canadians! Oh and there is also a couple from England. There were a total of nine of us staying in an 8 bed room, poor Hayley had to sleep on a small foam mattress on the floor. The people on our tour are great, everyone is super nice and friendly.
