Today we spent majority of the day exploring SeaWorld!

We started with the Artic Wild where we saw Beluga Whales (white whales), Walruses and a beautiful big Polar Bear who was pacing back and forth right up to the glass. Truely incredible!!
Both being Polar Bear lovers we were pretty excited to get so close.
          From there we made …

          San Diego Zoo

We caught the bus to the San Diego Zoo this morning which was about 15 minutes away.

The zoo is enormous (one of the biggest/most famous in the world) with lots different themed areas that they keep the different animals in. A few of the main areas are the Lost Forrest, Northern Frontier, African Rocks, Urban Jungle and Outback Australia …

Welcome to San Diego - in the words of Ron Burgandy "meaning the whales vagina in German".
Today we did a self guided walking tour of San Diego. We started with the Gaslamp Quarter which is where our hostel is located. Basically the epicenter of the city. Bars, pubs, restaurants and clubs from tip to tail.
We followed this down to the San …

Today we woke once again to beautiful weather and headed down for our last buffet breakfast. After breakfast we went for a walk along the beach to enjoy it for the last time. I think the only part of us that is happy to be leaving is our skin, and especially Lou's sunburn lip which has swollen up nicely.

We said goodbye to our beautiful …

We were checking outdoor to go to stay in the city in the Gas Light District. The bikes hadn't been collected yet so we had out and did another 4 hour ride through Old Town to Mission Bay and Beach. It was much easier ride with only 1 hill.

I loved this day. From the interesting houses from Hillcrest to the historic Spanish Old Town. We …
