The last few weeks in Whistler have been crazy busy. So many different things happening. We had the Iron Man race which is a 4km swim, 180km bike ride, and 42km run. I'd die probably 1km into the swim let alone the rest and if you have driven around Whistler or Pemberton, it's far from flat!! On the way up we saw a small brown bear on the side of the road who just kept on eating despite the fact that we were parked only a couple of metres from him/her. ... locations! I then started working full time on 28th November when our snow school opened for lessons. The school teaches kids from ages 3 - 18. The 3-4 year olds are my favourites, they are all kitted out in big fluffy warm jackets, so big that their arms stick out to the sides, and most of them have never walked in ski boots before, so they look very cute trying to walk from their meeting place to the gondola! I start work at 7.30am and work ...

Time to leave the Aquarium after looking at the South African penguins and watching a white stripe Pacific dolphin programme As it's really foggy today we decide to head up the Sea to Sky Highway (great name) towards Whistler. This road has been said to be one of the prettiest ...
