... after Whistler, I met my cousin in Fernie and we roadtripped in her awesome van to the states. I hadn’t seen her in many years as she moved to Canada so it was great to catch up! I then reunited with a few of my Whistler family in LA and we flew to Turkey to tour around Gallipoli and Troy. Istanbul was an amazing city apart from the Blue Mosque waking us up at 5am. Getting from the airport was also entertaining as the taxi driver spoke ...

In latest news I am happy to announce that it is finally snowing in Whistler. We've had about 40cm of snow in the last two days with more to come this week. ... significance. Nearby there is Bald Eagle viewing areas also, in the winter there is over 200 to be seen at one time however we didn’t see anything, but again could only smell the salmon dying after spawning, it’s very fishy stinky.

Our last stop was the grand finale – magnificent Brandywine Falls, just downstream from the falls is Daisy Lake.

We arrive in the quaint resort town of Whistler at 4pm. Whistler has a local population of ...

... of the walk we had thunder rolling around and the wind began to whistle through the trees. We got a bit of rain just before the end of the walk and the visibilty and conditions were bad enough to find the cable car had been suspended. Thankfully it restarted after only half an hour. Typically the sun came out again when we got back down!
