... 30 bus and the next one was 2.30. In truth, it was a much needed extended down time. Used the time to catch up on the news, including the Matildas' win over Brazil and to revisit the highs of the last fortnight. The Sea to Sky bus ride was still spectacular. Those views are amazing and with the Sea Bands in place, I almost did the trip like the locals and stretched out and closed the eyes for a bit of a snooze as the bus jolted and bumped its way ...

... Revelstoke. We booked a cheap hotel with 2 queen beds so we could both have a good nights sleep. After a beer and a feed we passed out. We got up early to drive the final leg to Calgary, but after doing this drive numerous times now, I knew the 4 hours of driving would mean the 4 hours of driving as well as 2 hours of stopping for sight seeing. The weather was terrible. We had rain, sleet and snow on the drive to Calgary where it was sunny! Megs was excited to be in snow again after ...

We walked down to the village and the kids had a great time doing a bungee trampoline, bouncy house, maze, miniature golf and the like. Great fun was had by all most of the time, but there were moments! Whistler is a real hive of activity in the summer months as there are thousands of people with their mountain ...

... period, especially the last 2 weeks working 2 jobs, volunteering and attending all of these end of season parties! As they say in Whistler, "party in April, sleep in May".

Jenny spots a bear!! – Now that I am a lady of leisure, I met my friends Rhian and Andy for a yummy Japanese lunch in the Village. Rhian showed me some photos that she had taken the day before of a Black Bear on the golf course near to where she lives! She told me that ...

... to a halt and found myself stuck in knee deep snow with my skis buried below! I fumbled around for a while trying to pick my feet up with no success. I noticed a couple stood nearby waiting for someone else in their party. I shouted over to them and asked for some tips! They told me to reverse out (which was hard seeing as I was on a downhill slope), get my ski tips up and whilst skiing in powder to lean back on my skis (not how you usually ski) and not to make ...
