Sat on the bus on the way back to Vancouver, driving through some of the most incredibly stunning scenery, it doesn't look real. I don't want to leave Whistler!! We have had the best 3 days. Seems like it's been a lot longer. We have met so many people, had enough free stuff to last the whole trip and eaten enough bread based goodness to double our …

Sat in a beautiful lodge in the mountains in whistler, with a face that resembles a tomato.... Whistler is incredibly beautiful. The lodges are all nestled in dense pine forest and some of the houses are absolutely incredible. Like with glass walls, hot tubs and bbqs on the porch - the dream. People everywhere, the place is alive with pubs, cafes, bars, music and shopping.

And yep, we could see him on the other side of the sliding track, again nonchalantly grazing and completely ignoring us. And just like The Aspens bear, this guy had a yellow tag in his ear. Some interesting snippets of info: the lichen grows at a rate of 1 mm per year; can tell the difference ...

... the fire for a little longer before joining me in the tent. It was freezing! The padding and warmth we had for the car, had to be split between 3 of us. So we padded the floor, a sleeping bag and comforter (doona!) for the girls and I roughed it on the end with 2 donnas for padding and warmth. So I wore basically every layer I could including gloves, beanie and scarf to bed. We woke at 5.15am to pack up the tent to get to our horse riding appointment. It was raining of ...
