At Tropic Days you get up with the sun: the birds and the sun awoke me at about 5:30am, so I decided to go for a run. It was a great run along the ocean boardwalk and through the city. A visit by gondola cable-car over the treetops of the rainforest near Cairns to an aboriginal town named Karunda. Extremely tourist-orientated; reptile park, butterfly park, bird park, etc etc, aboriginees demonstrating boomerang technique and other things (costs extra).
