Travel Blogs from Surfers Paradise
So here we are at the beginning of our trip in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast for a couple of nights to relax and catch some rays after our 24hr flight from the UK. I have been to Australia many times but my mum and brother was with me this time and its all new to them
We stayed at Trekkers Backpackers which I would recommend to anyone …
Got up early and decided to just go for it and went to the train station. Got on one of the suburban trains to helensvale, it stopped for ages at this one bit because of signals or sumthin and it stunk of cheese round there me and gem were in giggles!! Then when we got to helensvale we got a bus and then eventually found our hostel. Checked into …
Woo hoo we are in the gold coast, first stop surfers paradise massive high rise coastal town, once we arrived found out that the hostel we booked was bloody miles away so had to arrange a transfer, left nelly on his own and headed to jonny and babs, chilled out at the beach in burleigh and waited for jonny, we had a BBQ and a good old catch up on the last 6 months great seeing Kobe so grown up

How has this hostel rated in the past?
Stayed here for 2 nights with free breaky and tea and coffee. Had a private room which was basic but clean and tidy. Nice lounge and table area and outside BBQ and pool area. All in all it was great value for money, just outside of the main town as well. They also offer cheap shuttles into town and back.
